Recent Alcohol-Related Tragedies involving University of Kentucky Students

Connie Blount, 18, April 13, 2008, University of Kentucky How and why? Connie died in a hit-and-run accident crossed against the traffic signal and stopped in the street for unknown reasons when she was crossing South Broadway.  The police accident report says that Connie Blount had been drinking that night before she was struck.
Brian Jason Hardin, 27, April 16, 2008, University of Kentucky How and why? Brian  was walking near the intersection of Woodland Avenue and Maxwell Street when he fell about 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday after a night out with friends at a nearby bar.. Hardin was taken to University of Kentucky Hospital, where he died 10 hours later from a traumatic brain injury.
