Recent Alcohol-Related Tragedies involving Pace University Students

Danroy Henry, Jr., 20,  October 17, 2010,  Pace University How and why? Hours after playing in the homecoming football game, Danroy and two other young men were in a car parked in a fire lane outside Finnegan's Grill waiting for another friend. A police officer responding to an incident outside the bar asked him to move the car. As Henry complied and only moved a few feet, the police officer yelled stop. Then another officer jumped in front of the car and fired his weapon.  Danroy lost his life from the shots fired by the police.  Danroy’s parents and the police differ on the circumstances resulting in Danroy’s death.   Toxicology tests showed that Danroy’s blood-alcohol level was .13.
