GUEST, Kristine Barbara Kristine Barbara Guest, 20, cherished daughter of Ellen and Stephen Guest of West Hartford, died early Sunday morning as result of a tragic snowmobile accident in the midst of enjoying a spectacular winter sunrise. Her passing came at a time when she was beginning to find her way in our complicated world and leaves us without knowing where her potential would lead her. Born in Meriden on June 24, 1984, she lived most of her life in West Hartford. Kristine was a 2002 graduate of Conard High School, completing 13 years in the West Hartford school system. After a year at Simmons College, she was in the middle of her junior year at Quinnipiac University. She found her passion in legal studies and was considering law school after graduation next year. An honor student at Conard, she made the dean's list every semester during her college years. At Quinnipiac, she was active in the Criminal Justice Society, Pre-Law Society, Residence Hall Council and the Community Action Project. Kristine was a parishioner at Saint Peter Claver Church. Kristine was a kind, considerate, caring young lady who cherished loyal friendships as they supported each other to finding their own way. She enjoyed family traditions and gatherings and walks on the beach. Besides her parents, Kristine is survived by her loving brother, Nathan and sister and best friend, Julie; maternal grandfather, Alfred Erasmus of Meriden; aunts and uncles, Jean and Tony Fazzino of Portland, Linda Lou and Wayne Noda of Mission Viejo, California; James and Julie Erasmus of Simsbury, Mark Erasmus of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Philip and Nancy Guest of Meriden; and cousins Abigail and Dylan Erasmus, Donovan and Keif Fazzino, Jennifer, Timothy and Jonathan Guest, Eric, Glen and Cheryl Noda and Damian, Dinah, Deidre, Diana and Frank Erasmus. Kristine was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Barbara Erasmus and paternal grandparents, Louis and Dorothy Guest. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, 10 a.m. in St. Peter Claver Church, 47 Pleasant St., West Hartford. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford. Calling hours will be TODAY, 5-8 p.m. at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford. Memorial contributions can be made to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center, 282 Washington Street, Hartford, CT 06106 and Saint Joseph College School for Young Children, 328 Steele Road, West Hartford, CT 06117.
