Brandon Brown was beaten to death outside of a house party.  Although Brandon was not an instigator which elicited the beating, he had a blood alcohol level of 0.3 percent when he arrived at the hospital, nearly four times the legal limit for intoxication, demonstrating that heavy drinking by all likely exacerbated the situation.
