 Reported that University of California-Santa Barbara Freshman Abigail Isabela died Thursday night after she was thrown from a car during an accident.  Isabela was not wearing a seatbelt when she was ejected from the car, driven by  Santa Barbara City College student Jose Carlos Valdez, 19. Valdezawas charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and felony vehicular manslaughter.  Three other passengers in the car were also hospitalized for observation and treatment.
