Reported that  Appalachian State University student Raisa D. Sheikh died from an apparent accidental overdose of alcohol.  Although Raisa was a resident of a dorm she was found in an apartment

Grieving dad wants answers in daughter's death

Reported on Raisa's father Danny Sheikh's confusion as to how and why this unexplainable fate happened to his daughter. Witnesses said Raisa had been drinking at several off-campus locations.  After friends called police at 4:30 a.m., she died at the hospital. Reported that the alcohol content in her blood was 4 to 5 times the legal limit when she died. Danny Sheikh said the daughter he knew rarely drank at all. “  He wondered how did she get to that alcohol beverage?   As of now, he feels betrayed by the university since he trusted the school.
